Today I will describe and contrast the output of two different futures projects, examples of two possible strategies for raising awareness of futures studies. The first is the State of the Future 2002, the most recent report from the UNU’s Millennium Project. The second is TechTV’s Catalog of Tomorrow, a project of Que Publishing in conjunction with the USA cable channel, TechTV. I will briefly describe the structure of each, and then compare their key characteristics.
